The reconstruction of Ota began from the sky. Across several flight sessions, we captured the village's terrain, houses and landmarks with high-resolution photogrammetry — thousands of images turned into centimetre-accurate geometry.
Every digitised façade is checked against historical records and the memories of the people who live there. When the digital replica diverges from the community's memory, we investigate: sometimes the algorithm is wrong; sometimes the village itself has changed.
Over the coming months, this digital skeleton gains materials, vegetation, light and life. It's the phase where a scan becomes a world.
